Hello,
Has anyone successfully  created a script to end contracts in either VA42 or using BAPI? VA42 does not have the ability to search in the bill plan. I need to be able to remove the billing block, as well as update the billing dates for all applicable rows. 

I tried a standard transaction recording, but have not been successful with these two pieces. 

I have been working on a BAPI (BAI_CONTRACT_CHANGE), but am not sure that I have the correct one, or what triggers I may need.

Did a quick search and a lot of other people have the same question.  They didn't find a BAPI either.  

You could ask your Basis team if someone can write a BAPI to accomplish the job.
or
You can use GUI scripting with an indexed if.  You have to capture the read only field - in this case I captured start date to find the right line.  If that matches, it updates the bill date and block.

I'm attaching a GUI scripting quick example that uses a billing plan at the header level.

Thank you Sigrid! I have downloaded a copy for reference. I did find BAPI_CUSTOMERCONTRACT_CHANGE and am working with that right now. But,  if I cannot figure it out, the GUI may be the way to go. Thank you!
