  • 1.  Adding serial numbers to multipiece production order (CO02)

    Posted 10-06-2020 06:12
I am trying to create a script for inserting serial numbers on a multipiece production order via CO02.  In the script recording, I get to the serial entry window and winShuttle records as follows:

    serial script recording

I would like a way to loop on the serial table, but I do not know of a way to increment the name of the field (Ex. having winShuttle go from RIPW0-SERNR(01) to RIPW0-SERNR(02).  Is this possible?

    Hi Ryan

Not my area of expertise, but here's what I would try.
    1) enter the serial number on the last row
    2) hit page down, please don't use the scroll bar.  It will move everything up, showing only the last one

I manually did it 3 times and got this - no spaces between them

    Hope that helps,
    Sigrid

Here's a quick example, Ryan.  Wanted to test out my own theory, and it seems to work.

    I opened the production order
I went to header -> serial numbers
I hit page down to ensure most of the entries there were pushed up
then I entered a new serial number and hit page down - looping around that
