  • 1.  VBA Macro in 12.1 question?

    Posted 08-17-2020 09:59
    Hi,

    Hi all,

I've asked this question of support, but no answer yet, so I thought I would ask here as well?

I want to be able to run a Transaction script via VBA macros where it only runs error and unprocessed rows.

    The documentation says:

    RunType
    0 – Run Specified Range
1 - Run And Stop On Errors
2 – Run First Five Rows
3 – Run Only Error Rows
4 – Run Only Unprocessed Rows
_ – Run Error Rows and Unprocessed Rows (number forthcoming)
    5 – Debug Specified Range
6 – Debug First Row Only
    7 – Validate Specified Range
8 – Validate First Five Rows
9 – Validate Only Error Rows
10 – Validate Only Unprocessed Rows

Has this been sorted yet and the option "Run Error Rows and Unprocessed Rows" been assigned a runtype number?

    Regards

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

I used the Utility Kit to create the macro and it seems your option isn't available.

    Hi Tom,

Apologies for the delay in replying, things have been rather hectic! Thanks for the reply.  I've now heard back from support, the following options are also available for type of run.  They are currently updating the documentation to include these.

    Simulate Specified Range = 11
Simulate First Five Rows = 12
Simulate Only Error Rows = 13
Simulate Only Unprocessed Rows = 14
Run Unprocessed And Error Rows = 15
    Validate Unprocessed And Error Rows=16

So 15 is what I am after. We may need to ask them to update the utility kit to reflect the additional options.

    Regards

    Mark

    Hello Mark,

As this option does not have a number yet in the documentation (number forthcoming) that indicates it is likely being developed and not yet available. We do not have a timeline or further information on this. We would need to ask Product Management for more details.

It appears the agent working with you on the Support ticket as done so and is waiting to hear back.

    Thank you,
    Shelby
