  • 1.  Server Scheduled Run

    Hello Fellow Winshuttlers,

I am pretty sure I know the answer, but I also know there are some pretty savvy users here. I have some queries that run on a server scheduled frequency. I have the confirmation email auto forward to the user who needs the data. That user cannot click the "open file" link in the email. I have given her permissions to the data file folder, however that doesn't seem to have made any difference.

My question, is there a way I can have the emails sent to that user instead of myself? Server run options are not the same as local runs, so I am unable to set that parameter there. Is there a way to redirect through Foundations settings?

    Hi Vanessa

If you are doing desktop scheduling, you can specify email addresses.   Otherwise, the notifications will only go to the scheduler/runner.

Please open a support ticket to request an improvement in the product to support your use case.  You're not alone in wanting this feature.  :)

    Best Regards,
    Sigrid

Than you Sigrid! I figured that was the answer, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I have submitted a feature request (43061), I think this is the 2nd time. ;)
