  • 1.  Composer Data Connection Sort

    Hello All,

I have a Composer solution that has a SharePoint Data Connection and the SharePoint list has two columns of people in it.  I would like to have two separate dropdowns on the form, one for each column (no problem here), but need those dropdowns each be sorted based on their own values in descending order (my issue).

I can get the one dropdown to work just fine, but the second is sorted based on the first.  Anyone have an idea to help?

I tried to create a 2nd data connection to the same SharePoint list, but it required a unique name, but the name is not editable when connecting to SharePoint, so it does not allow it.

    Thanks for any thoughts.

Sorry, Scott, I don't have an answer for Foundation other than creating 2 SP lists.  But once you go to Evolve, you can name your connections.

    Best Regards,

Maybe have two queries to the same data connection, each outputing to a separate table hidden on the view. Use the tables as the range for each drop down. Sort the table and reload the drop down optiosn to reflect that sort.
