  • 1.  CA10 Standard Text Upload Possible?

    Hello,
    I'm new to the forum. Looking for support regarding Winshuttle and SAP transacation CA10.
    To map and upload the Long Text description, I'm limited to the Text Editor and only 72 character line max similar to transactions IA05/IA06? Is this correct, regardless of the Winshuttle version used?

    Hi John

    Here is a link to the tcodes where we can upload and download long text as one entry:  https://docs.winshuttle.com/studio-en-12-1-x-online-help-studio-w-connect/12/Record-long-text.htm

    For other tcodes, you can record it, and yes, it's 72 character lines. 
    • You have to choose if you're creating or updating in CA10
    • Then choose if you're replacing or adding to it.
    • If adding to it, you can hit page to bottom followed by page down, and then enter the 72 character line in the last row and hit enter
    • put a loop around the page down and insert
    Simple example attached to append to already existing text.
    You can open a support ticket to request adding CA10 to the list supported the simpler way.

    Thanks for answering my question.  What is the likelihood of getting the CA10 long text added to the list of supported Tcodes?

    Do I just go out to the support Open forum and submit the service ticket? Not sure of the process.

    Yes, John.  A regular support ticket http://support.winshuttle.com

    We have added new tcodes in most of the recent releases.  They get prioritized by our product/engineering teams based on requests and other factors I'm not privy to. :)
