  • 1.  Firefighter users Running existing scripts

    Hello,

    My company wants someone outside of my Master Data department to start helping out by running some of our Winshuttle scripts.  Due to SOD, he will only be allowed as a firefighter user.  None of my scripts were programmed for this, so will he be able to run anything without me having to re-record everything in GUI?

    We are using Studio 12.01.

    Hi Katherine -

    Due to the nature of how firefighter logons work, a firefighter user can only run scripts created in Gui Scripting mode.  Since firefighter use is really for exceptions, rather than regular use, this isn't typically the way users would access those t-codes, with or without Winshuttle.
