Performance requires factoring in a lot of different things, including network speed, VPN load (if you're using one), your PC load, SAP server speed/load, etc. Given a lot of people are working from home, it is putting a strain on network throughput in many cases.
Perhaps you can engage with your IT to check network speed, etc. Another option would be to have them setup a VM with Studio on it near SAP, so that once you login to the VM it will have good performance running against SAP.
