    When using this BAPI to update Material Master - Profit Centre, it is not updating it. Any Reason?

    Hi,
    I think you need to give us more details.
    Does it work when updating other fields than profit center?
    Did you remember about 'X' tables for each table that you're updating?
    Did you test this FM directly in SAP via SE37 (if you have access)?
    Did you give all the details that might be required in this table? That part is difficult to figure out, but normally it's expected that you provideorg. data within that table to update certain fields.

    I did have the X parameter populated.

     

    Out of about 50 materials, it somehow managed to update about 5 of them with Profit Centre. The others it did not. The value of the profit centre was the same for all materials...

     

    I will double check with BAPI directly in SAP.

    Hi Vin - can you please attach your script?  BAPIs are great to use with SAP, but this particular on is very picky on including the proper X's for the view(s), as well as the fields in each view.

    Hi Vin

    Your script looks great overall - great work!.   I saw that Profit Center field in the X table (PlantDataX) did not have an "X" in it.  You'll need to do that if you want to set/update it.

    Oh. I am pretty sure I did have it when I ran it. as out of about 50 materials about 5 or so did get updated...maybe whilst I have checking I may well have deactivated it by accident.
