  • 1.  "The VIrtual Key is not Enabled" error for GUI-scripted CMRD-ORDER script?

I am attempting to write my first GUI-scripted CRM transaction script. The transaction CRMD_ORDR is being used to close CRM Service Tickets.

I didn't see problems while recording the script, and the sample ticket used to record the script was changed as expected.  The resultant script file had the two inputs set as fixed text, which I mapped to the data file.  I also noticed two map elements with the description "Find" that were set to map from SAP to Excel, not sure what they are.

I believe that GUI scripting is enabled because I see the "barber pole" in the lower right corner while the script is recording, but don't know if maybe there's something not working on the server side?

I've been able to use GUI scripting in ECC and GTS with no problem.

Attached is a copy of the TXR file.

I'd appreciate any insights on this issue.

    Hi Gail,

If you do a Debug run of the script where do you notice it fail? When I ran your script in Debug it failed with the same error when trying to enter in the Transaction number on the Open Business Transaction prompt (line 7).  Can you try disabling line 9 in the Expert view and retest? It appears it does not like the sendVKey command on line 9. Disabling this will allow the pop up to happen and it will enter in the Transaction number right after.

    Thanks!

    Shelby,

That solved the problem!  Thank you!
