    I have a query returning the field name (WERKS) and I am in need of the short description of the field name (Plant). Google is not returning a quick table like (MAKT for materials). The tables I am using in my query are CDHDR (Change document header) and CDPOS (Change document items) returning FNAME (Field Name) coming back with WERKS and would like to have PLANT for users to understand the what was changed and do not know the field name as well.  Any help is apricated.

    I have found a table DDLANGUAGE that connects. But have found it is easier to run as a second pull or table look up to speed up the extract.

    Please check out T001W - it includes the plant name.

    I usually google SAP table .......   so for this one I search SAP table plant description.  Here's one of the links:  https://answers.sap.com/questions/6505800/plant-description-required.html

    In general, you can also do a search on the field name in Query - usually the descriptions start with a T for enterprise data, and sometimes end with a T.
