I am trying to build a composer solution that at the completion of one form process, will email the recipients with an attachment that is an export from a repeating group in that form view.

Essentially, I've been trying to use the Plug-in "export repeating group to file" then somehow attach that exported file to a "send notification" email node, but I don't see any way to be able to do that.

Has anyone had any success with this? Is this possible? Using Composer 12.1

Haven't used that specific plugin before, but I'm curious what you're trying to accomplish. 

Can you, instead, just include a copy of the form to the Send Email plugin?  You could create a view with just the data you want in it.

Hi Sigrid,

Thanks for the suggestion - I hadn't thought to create a separate view with the data in it. I guess I also had my terminology mixed up - it was for a repeating table, not a repeating group. I was trying to export the repeating table because it held data from a specific transaction script run. I wanted to capture the results of that run and attach them to an email to send to the person who initiated the request.

I would think creating a separate view to attach to the email would accomplish that same goal. I will give that a try - thanks!

Hi Kyle - glad that might work. 

If the idea is to send the email only to the originator, you can use the notification node in the originator swimlane at the right time.  You can also attach a form view there.
You can pick a view to use for the attachment, as well.
