    Hi Moazzam

Created one long ago.  It depends on how you're trying to load the budget data.

    Mine does this
Fill in the initial data (don't use a range unless you want to fill it in that way - would need a different approach)

if you're entering one value for the periods then hit overview
enter your values and click save

if you're entering values per period click period screen instead
enter your period values in one go

    click save

There are other parts of this tcode, but that is what I have scripted to date.

    Hope it helps,
    Sigrid

Hi Sigrid, I have multiple cost elements and cost centers to upload. What logic do I use to create the loop?

    Thanks

    Hi Moazzam

If you have multiple cost centers/elements, they would each be a different row of data that gets posted to SAP.  This method doesn't use a loop.

If you do want a range, it depends on which screen you are filling in.  if it's the period screen, you can use the down buttons
    example - selection screen

if you are using the overview screen you'll see this
there is no way to know which row has which activity, so it's better to use one activity at a time and no loop - just pass in one combination of cost center/element/activity and post.

if you go to the period screen, you'll see this
If you know exactly what you'll see, you can use the down button - highlighted on top
-fill in one screen full of period values
    -then click down
    create a loop around that

But you may end up with values you didn't expect with a range, as there may be new activities/cost centers/cost elements that you didn't anticipate.  So if you're sure of your data and range, the looping option will work ok.

    Hope that helps,
    Sigrid
