Hi Jan,
Yes, you can preserve header formatting by going to Options > Data Settings, and check "Preserve header formatting" under the Excel headers section. I ran a few tests and it works as expected (I'm using 12.1). Please note this is a global setting so it will apply to all of the scripts/data files for that user.
Another option is to set the log column somewhere to the far right where it won't be seen and then use a different cell with your own formatting. In the example below. I'm referencing the log header in cell AD and applied my own formatting in cell AD.

Subject: Fontstyle Header Run Log
Hi All,
today I've got a question from a customer if it is possible to change the font style of the header from the Run Log Column.
We can change font, fontsize, etc. in the belonging Excel file but when running the script is completed the styles of the cell are changed back again to default settings.
Is there a way to keep the style as is set in the Excel-file?
Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards,
Jan
