    Hi
I wanted to see if anybody worked on CJ88 transaction script and successfully were able to record this including "process success/errors".
Currently I am  not able to capture the result (success/warning/fail) of this t-code run. Thanks. Ocal

    Hi Ocal,

I don't believe it's possible to capture basically a report that is on the screen as Transaction fields.

You could output the results to a file, but in order to do so, you'd have to use GUI scripting.

    Thanks Sigrid.
CJ88 is part of our Fixed Asset capitalization project where we built a request form-approval solution with Composer. In this case; we will not be able to automate CJ88 on the form level since GUI scripting will not work on the form? I was wondering if any other customers had similar requirements. In our solution; we handle asset creation (AS01) and settlement rule creation (CJ20), but next process step is CJ88 for actual settlement. If this isnt doable; I will advise that CJ88 should be run directly in SAP but wanted to confirm with you.

    Thanks,
    Ocal

Hi Ocal - you don't have to use GUI scripting to automate it .  It's just that I tried it to see if I could somehow capture parts of the resulting report on the screen using GUI scripting, but it didn't work    I only spent a little time looking for a BAPI - perhaps there is one out there if you research it.

    Best Regards,
