  • 1.  SU01 Adding new Roles is not picking up in the recording

    Hello,
    I am creating a new transaction in SAP t-code SU01 and adding new roles to an existing User. The recording goes fine but when look at the mapping I only see the User Name and Accounting ID (the last entry after the new role). The mapping does not show the System, New Role, Start Date & End Date. I tried all the recording modes.  I tried inserting and adding to the bottom of the list but nothing is working.

    Hi Duncan

    I don't have an insert role/row button.  So I use the bottom arrow on top (double down arrow) and then page down (single down arrow), in case the entire page is filled at the bottom.  That combo and always entering on the last row lets me add roles, and I can enter the role name and effectivity dates.
    Please note I'm using v12.1 Studio, the 12.1 WFM and using Standard recording mode.

    Hi Duncan -  Yes, installing the Winshuttle Function Module - preferably the same version as Studio, would be needed for proper script execution.  Please see this article for links to do the installation:  https://support.winshuttle.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023449852-Winshuttle-Function-Module .
