  • 1.  No message is returned from SAP

    Hello.
    I just switched to Winshuttle Studio as my SAP GUI has been updated to 750.
    I've recorded a few scripts but each time I run them I am getting the message "No message is returned from SAP".
    The log header states 0 Errors, but the updates are not being completed.

    Can anyone offer some advice.

    Have you tried turning on Extended Logging, it might give some messages.

    Hi Irene,

    Is the Winshuttle Function Module updated on the server with the same version as your Winshuttle Software? 

    When I've tried to update from 10.7.3 to Studio 11.4.1, I had the same issue. 

    Please check you Function Module (instructions on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnmK1ecTKhM

    If they don't match, you will need to ask your BASIS to update it on the server file, and on the meanwhile you will need to use the old Winshuttle software version.

    Hi Irene,

    Your SAP GUI is updated to 750.
    But which patchlevel is installed?
    You have to install at least patch 6, but patch 11 is already available.
    And as André mentioned already, make sure the WFM is the same version as Studio.

    Are you sure the updates are not being completed. We are new on Winshuttle and I have created some asset transfer scripts that return that message, but the update does take place. I have told my users to ignore the message.

    Thank you all for your help.
    I spoke to one of our IT managers.  Since there are inconsistencies with which versions of Windows/Office are being run throughout the company, he suggested that I revert back to GUI 740.

    I had a similar issue with one specific script (for FB70) when I upgraded to Studio.  A simple uninstall and reinstall of Studio fixed the issue.
