  • 1.  Connect Total time saved can times be changed?

    Posted 07-05-2019 12:02
We are seeing in some T-codes that the amount of time shown saved is much higher then the amount of information. IE02, IW51, and PA30. I would like to understand how the time is worked out.

Can it or is it, be based on screens and fields inputs?
Example IW51 I have 7 screens that are walked though and 3 fields in each. This would be 21 total fields inputs. Average time take a manual person 1 minute but the program shows 10 minutes time saved.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi Benjamin,

Here is some information about how time savings is calculated:
Manual Upload Time is based on how long it took to record the transaction in SAP (single record)

Shuttle Upload Time is the amount of time per record it took with Transaction

Time Saved is Manual Upload Time minus Shuttle Upload Time per record

Total Time Saved is Time Saved multiplied by the number of Lines in the data sheet

If you'd like to change the Manual Upload Time, you can do so on the Map tab of the script. The property is in the General Section and is labeled Recording Time (in seconds). See screenshot below.

    Thanks!
