    I need to update characteristics for release strategys Class Type 032 . I'm using CL20N , somebody did a script for that purpose

    Hi Tatiana
    We have little to no data in our main SAP system for release strategy classes/characteristics, but I managed to record a simple update.  
    1. Used Standard recording mode
    2. Checked launch SAP GUI (on the RUN tab) - almost always needed for the "enjoy" transactions - you'll know because it ends with an "N" and often has unpredictable results without it.
    3. I entered the class type then release group and strategy and clicked the lookup underneath the classes, which shows the characteristics below.  Note mine only had one class.  And I'm assuming you are not adding classes.
    4. Click binoculars and find the characteristic you want to update using the Characteristic description.  It moves it to row one, and you pass up the new value.  There is a loop around this update more than one characteristic value.
    Hope this gives you an idea of how to automate this t-code.
