Hi Amanda
If you're interested in what has changed in an SAP object, like PIR's, you only have a few options, as in essence it's an SAP extract/"report":
- use those change log tables, which you pointed out in your post - example attached. Object class: INFOSATZ . This may take a long time to run if you have a lot of PIRs and changes to them. I ran it for one PIR, as an example and to double check it captured what was in ME14.
- script running a report and downloading it in excel - such as ME14, or even SE38 -> program RSSCD100 - you'll have to provide the object class (INFOSATZ)and optionally the object id, which is your PIR number. Because there is a windows pop-up on where to save it, it requires GUI scripting mode.
I'm not 100% sure what you mean by including the associated line items. The change logs will contain before/after values on all fields in the SAP objects - regardless of header or detail (line item) levels.
Best Regards,
Sigrid

Hello! Has anyone out there created or tried to create a read-only script for ME14 to read PIR changes? I have not been able to find a template nor related tables other than CDHDR and CDPOS. Also, would need to capture all associated line items.
Thanks for your help!
