Dose Winshuttle installs support the click to run version of office?

  • 1.  Dose Winshuttle installs support the click to run version of office?

We are moving to 365 and our IT is moving to using click to run on office programs such as excel. Is this being implemented into Winshuttles install packages? When is the time frame of them being available?

    Thanks

    Hey Benjamin!
I ran into some issues when testing Click to Run. The Excel add-in for Winshuttle gave some problems, but here's how I fixed it.

Step 1. Both programs have to be either of 32 bits or 64 bits. Our click to run is of 64 bits and our Winshuttle was of 32,  so it was incompatible.
To download the 64 bits Winshuttle a user with an admin account downloaded in from this link:

    For your reference: https://support.winshuttle.com/s/article/Error-Winshuttle-Excel-Add-in-is-not-appearing

Step 2. An administrator has to remove and add again the Winshuttle add-in following the steps from the next link:

    Hope this helps!
