    Hi All,
I am at a loss. I have created a VA01 order creation script which handles multiple line orders magnificently. I am running into an issue with it running single line orders. The business needs to have a single script which can handle both scenarios. I have tried using IF statements to ignore the multi-line loop if no D exists (both inside and outside of the loop) but that didn't work. I have tried the "skip if not found" and that did not work. I have tried using IF first & not first transaction scenarios, again, no change.

Has anyone successfully worked through this?

I have attached the script in case it helps. What am I missing?

    Thank you!

    Hi Vanessa

The issue is you have the first material on the header row.   That means with 1 material, there are no line items and the loop will fail.

If you enter the material on row 2 and click to add a row, row 2 is always available.  You put a loop around that and you can have 1 material or 100.

Attaching a simple example.  Please check it out and run in step by step mode to see how I recorded it.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi @John Sekutowski

You sent me a private message based on this post about creating sales orders, ending up with only the last item in it.  I only reply on the community, so here is my suggestion.

    • As the guides suggests, please be sure you are entering each item on row 2, and are clicking the insert item/row button for the next item.  Row 2 will always be available if you do it this way.  You'll know if it's working if you run in debug mode and see that each row is added properly and not overwritten by the previous line.

Hope that gives you some ideas.  If you're still stuck, please upload your script and we can try to offer additional suggestions.

    Best Regards,
    Sigrid
