Hi Nancy,
what do you mean with "ending up adding the first line of the BOM" ? I started with CS02, then opened general item overview and
pressed the button "new entries". New line for adding a new material is now Always the second line, I filled Item category, material number
and quantity and pressed enter. In the item basic data I filled in "fixed quantity"(needed), pressed enter, screen changes to status/lng textr, no more input and then pressed save, recording ended.

Subject: CS02 - BOM - add new material
Me too! I worked with the Win Shuttle representative and the same happened for him. I was creating a new BOM with item category L, he ended up adding the first line of the BOM (the detail) on the header line, I have never seen that done before but it worked.
