  • 1.  CS02 - BOM - add new material

    Posted 02-01-2019 07:29
I tried to create a script with Transaction which should add new material to an existing BOM .
I followed the instructions shown in the Winshuttle Support for CS01, but it Always Ends with  th error
"No batch input data for screen (SAPLCSDI 2150 Table Control Material)". Any idea ?

    Hi Bernd,
Did you record with L & D? Adding a material and DIR or are you only adding a material?
I've attached the script we use for adding a material and dir (using an IF function in between the two) let me know if this works.

    File attached.
You will notice I used a lot of IF functions, this is because I run my CS01 script first and this script runs depending on the run logs of previous scripts.

    Hi Isra,

I have recorded my script with WInshuttle Studio 11.2, Transaction, starting with transaction CS02, I tried standard and batch Input mode
for recorduing. I only want to add a new  material to an existing material BOM. I compared it with your script, and it Looks very similar,
    see attachment.

Me too!    I worked with the Win Shuttle representative and the same happened for him.   I was creating a new BOM with item category L, he ended up adding the first line of the BOM (the detail) on the header line, I have never seen that done before but it worked.

    Hi Nancy,

what do you mean with  "ending up adding the first line of the BOM" ? I started with CS02, then opened general item overview and
pressed the button "new entries". New line for adding a new material is now Always the second line, I filled Item category, material number
and quantity and pressed enter. In the item basic data I filled in "fixed quantity"(needed), pressed enter, screen changes to status/lng textr, no more input and then pressed save, recording ended.

    Hi,

this screen shot is from a program i created for IB12 which works basically the same with function location BOM's

make sure you select " Standard (non-Batch - with SAP controls) this made a difference on how it behaves with the "New entries" button"
