  • 1.  Winshuttle to OnBase Access Denied

    Hi everyone,

We have a Winshuttle form set up for article creation (T-code MM01). After going through a fairly lengthy process and being approved by several groups, the article is created in SAP and a text file is sent to OnBase. Most articles that are created are successful, but for some reason the articles with article type "Supplies" in SAP are getting an Access Denied error for writing to the directory in OnBase.

We've verified that the service account does have the appropriate permissions (it successfully writes to that directory for other articles, which is strange), and it only fails for that article type. There is nothing in the Event Viewer on the OnBase server regarding the access being denied. After this error occurs, someone has to force complete the Winshuttle process, otherwise it won't leave the queue of the group that approves the posting to SAP and sends it off to OnBase.

Is there any reason why Winshuttle would be giving an Access Denied error for a directory when it clearly has permissions for it? During the testing phase a different network location worked just fine for the supplies article type, the error is just occurring when it's being sent to the directory on the OnBase server. Any insight would be appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Tyler

Hi Tyler - don't have any experience with OnBase nor access to it to try it out.  I would suggest you open a support ticket.  They may be able to help you track down the access issue.
