Has anyone successfully scripted SM37? We have a process where we run FINT first, then SM37 right behind it. I have FINT running without issue. I am having trouble with SM37 however. Part of the reason is the message "express document....." that pops up randomly, sometimes it is once, other times it is multiple times, I think I can get around that. The other problem is each FINT job creates two spools with the same name, I need the script to process each spool separately as well as then go back and go to the next job. The going back to grab the next job is where I am tripping up. I realize I need a loop, just not sure where to start the loop as well as what commands I need so that the script knows to move to the next line.

I have tried standard, batch & Gui recording methods. Attached is my latest attempt.

Hello,

We had that kind of problem with SM37.
We launch several process and need to get back the spools.
The jobs all have the same name, and the number of jobs is not constant.

We made a SM37 script that display all the jobs with the right name and then, get the spool on the first line of the list.
After that, the script delete the job. So, the next time you launch the script, the first line of the list is the next job.
It works, but for that you need to delete the jobs. That was not a problem for us, but it may be a problem for you.

And also for that,  the user will have to launch two scripts: one for the transaction that creates the job and, when the job is done, one that get the spool and delete the job.

Interesting, that scenario makes sense. I will check with the user to see if that would be a viable option for them. If so, we'll head down that path. Thank you!
