Hi folks, I'm using Winshuttle Studio 11.3 and the script is a chain script in three parts.
The first is creating equipment in IE01, the second is CLMM to upload characteristics and the third is an IE02 edit to amend the characteristic status to 1 (the green tick).
It's a script that works well and does the job, there was another script that was developed using looping and IE01 but the format of the load file was deemed to be a pain for the runner's. Everything seems to have gone smoothly with the chain script but now I'm finding that some of the characteristics are not actually being loaded.
The data itself is fine, I've looked at it thoroughly and I can't find a fault anywhere...in fact the behaviour as to what's happening kind of proves the data is fine. I have the same characteristic against the same class using the same value on different equipment numbers within the same load....most of them upload find but 1 or two of them don't. If I rerun the load (the entire chain script), I will get a different result.
I don't know if it makes any difference but it always seems to be the required entry characteristics, from what I can tell all the other characteristics have added fine. Essentially we have a different type characteristic for each class we have, and it's these that seem to have an issue.
The screenshot below is one of the effected in our QA client, the production version of the same record went in fine. Other's that didn't work correctly in production have worked fine in QA. I've circled the characteristic that should have an entry loaded. I've checked the characteristics themselves and they are configured properly and exactly the same in both SAP clients so that's not the issue.
Can anyone explain this behaviour? I've ran out of analysis options in my head and at this point am totally bemused,
