  • 1.  Can't get BAPI_COSTELEMENTGRP_CREATE to work

    Hi All,

    I've logged a call with support, but I thought I'd ask here as well.

    I'm trying to create a cost element hierarchy using BAPI_COSTELEMENTGRP_CREATE .  This is my first time using Direct and I'm having some trouble.  I've got to the point where the script doesn't return errors when I run it, but it doesn't return anything else either and nothing gets saved.

    I have checked the commit required flag when creating the script but no message gets returned from SAP and no message is returned.  Any suggestions gratefully received.

    I have attached the script and test data.

    Hi Mark, I just tried your script and it ran fine.  It did show "No message is returned from SAP".    Some bapi's allow you to download additional messages, but for this one it looks like the only other option to output anything is the COA and the Group created.  My test (in v11)
    Hope that helps a little.
