  • 1.  ACR/Detail and ACR/Summary for zOS Upgrade question

    We are on z/OS 2.3 and R40V8M06.  Would like to upgrade to z/OS 2.4 and R90V3M08.  Can I upgrade directly to R90V3M08 or would I have to go to 9.1 or 9.2 first?

    You can upgrade directly from any ACR product version to any newer version. Incremental upgrades aren't needed.

    Could you provide the details of the acr summary and details? why these are essential.
    I am interested to learn from the fundamentals, could you please, provide any document that clarifies better.
