I have no other choice but to agree when you say upgrading EngageOne Compose to a newer release is time-consuming and requires planning.

EngageOne 4.4 Service Pack 8 is now available to all our clients. If you have not decided to upgrade to the latest release yet, read on to find out how it can change the lives of your designing team.

I would not recommend an upgrade if I didn’t believe the value of the upgrade exceeded the effort to upgrade tenfold. I think the new EngageOne Compose 4.4 Service Pack 8 is worth the time and effort. There are several new features in EngageOne Compose 4.4.8, but I want to talk about just one – one that will be enough for you to start planning your upgrade now.

Too good to be true? Read on...

One of the biggest limitations with EngageOne Compose is the browser compatibility of the Interactive editor and ActiveX editor. In previous versions of EngageOne Compose (version 4.4.7 or older) Cross-browser and ActiveX editing were only available to edit communications. The ActiveX editor was available for use with Windows Internet Explorer only.

The new release of EngageOne Compose comes with a brand-new editor: EngageOne Compose Interactive Editor. This interactive editor is a desktop program that is installed on your computer and provides all of the features of the ActiveX embedded editor but with the flexibility of browser choice.

Your design team no longer needs to switch between browsers or worry about browser crash issues. They only need to use the desktop version of the interactive editor. Curious to learn more about this cool new editor? You can find the installation details in Chapter 6 of the Installation Guide and the user instructions in the Interactive User’s Guide.

So, go ahead and give the new interactive editor a try and if you run into any challenges, we are always here to assist you. Just open a support request using our support portal.

Thank you for reading, and I look forward to any feedback on the new version
