  • 1.  Using ECC script in S4 Hana

    Hi,

    We were told by Precisely that we could "lift and shift" our ECC scripts to our new environment S4. Today I tested a script for tcode AO25 and it ran fine but returned the message, "Missing authorization for table T100 SV-018 (, , , )" instead of "Data saved". We'd like to avoid re-writing all our current scripts, what could be causing this issue?

    The process works when we manually do it- so its not role or authorization issue.

    We are currently on SAP Logon 800 patch level 7 32bit.

    Good Morning,

    Your authorization for your user id for table T100(Message table) is not set up in your new system. You should also see that (not authorized) for T100 when you do the authorization check for your account in the new system. I would suggest downloading and comparing your authorizations from both your old ECC system and your new system so your Basis team(or SAP systems admin) can fix all the missing authorizations at the same time..
