Dear All,

We migrated to S4Hana and not all informations concerning the Partner functions were migrated. We have the following challenge below:

1. we need to create a contact persons.

2. Assigne a customer to the contact person created.

3. Add the contact person as a partner function XX.

Can someone guide me on how to go about with the challenge?

This is how I do it:
Use BAPI_CREATE_FROM_DATA, set to Category "Person" and Grouping "ZCOP" (not sure what in standard the grouping code is for it if it exist).
We only enter First Name and Last Name.
With this i have a BP Number.

Next, with a BP recording, I open the BP (Customer) go to the Relationships screen, select the Category FBUR001 (Has contact person) and enter my Contact Person number. We also add Department, Function and note at this step.
You can also go the other way around (Is contact person) so you start from the Contact Person and assign Customers.

Because of the BAPI is use i decided to go our way.

Assuming that you adding them as a partner function on a sales role, we used the RFM /WINSHTLQ/TRN_FUNC_CUSTOMER to add them, we passed data to the PF_XKNVP structure.
