Automate Studio Manager and Evolve reports work on predefined SQL Views. These SQL Views are fixed and cannot be modified but are readily available to use and can help build your own reports quickly. When you create reports, you can view the predefined SQL Views and their fields. And, you can write complex SQL queries to bring data into the reports. After you have created and published a report, you can pin it to the top or bottom widget of your home page.
As an example, here is how you would create a License management report that includes both the license and usage details as a part of each usage record in Automate
Studio Manager or Automate Evolve. To create this report, we will need to combine two SQL views i.e. RPT_LicenseDetailsView and RPT_TransactionRoiView.
Having this in place one can quickly check for possible usage against License and even see if the license has been reassigned and how usage changes are reflected.
This report is built to capture the following columns which gives a detailed view of usage against a license:
1. User ID
2. SAP User
3. SAP system
4. SAP Client
5. Date
6. Manual upload time
7. Shuttle Upload Time
8. Time Saved
9. SAP Tcode
10. Run Type
11.Modules
12. Transaction script title
13.Data File name
14. Records Uploaded
15. Run Error
16. Reason for Run
17. Total time saved
18. Recording Mode
19. Run Fail reason
20. Run time
21. Account #
22. Product
23. Product Version
24. License
25. License ID
26. Start Date
27. Expiry Date
