  • 1.  "The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send" upon Excel Log on Button

    Posted 06-20-2024 12:56

Upon clicking "Log on to Studio" in Excel, I'm presented with the following error:

No concatenation/shortening/extension of my site's URL has worked. There is a related Knowledge Base article here, but I, along with many others, cannot edit Windows Registry entries in an enterprise setting.

Is there another way to get this working?

Yes, we have a valid, signed certificate for our site.

    Hi Alexander

A great place to search for these types of errors is support.precisely.com.  Please check out this article:  https://customer.precisely.com/s/article/Evolve-The-underlying-connection-was-closed-An-unexpected-error-occurred-on-a-send-360053470691?language=en_US

    I hope it helps.

    Best Regards,

    Sigrid,

I reference that article in my original post - see the last 4 lines. Registry editing isn't an option in my environment, unfortunately.

Sorry I missed that, Alexander.  I would suggest opening a support ticket.  It can be difficult to debug, since it's often customer/pc specific.

    Thanks,

    Sigrid
