  • 1.  Tables in InteractiveEditor within editable text paragraphs

    Hi,

    does anyone know how to add a table into a free editable text paragraph or has a nice workaround?

    One of our customers tries to put in a flexible (can be 1-5 columns and n rows) in a "free form" letter.

    Otherwise I think I have to create an idea on the ideas schema...

    One of our support engineers points out that you can have a table in an editable template, but the structure of the table is static. Only the data in the cells of the table is editable. And drawing the table in the Interactive Editor is not possible.

    So I'll add a thumbs-up to Paul Barron's suggestion that you vote for the idea in the Ideas portal.

    Adding to the remark of Steven: You can make rows and cells of a static table conditional, which increases flexibility at least a bit. Works very easy when you can design a table that will contain most options, but want to allow selection of a subset.
