Syncsort Capacity Management v12.60

Precisely announces the release of Syncsort Capacity Management v12.60.
Syncsort Capacity Management ensures that IT infrastructure resources are consistently available to meet the requirements of modern businesses. This latest version offers increased performance and scalability to handle larger workloads and data volumes efficiently. Syncsort Capacity Management is designed to work in both on premise and hybrid cloud environments, addressing the ongoing challenges of managing IT infrastructure in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
New Features and Functionality in Syncsort Capacity Management v12.60
- Improved database performance by enhancing the Data Summarizer application to automatically summarize and delete UNIX/Linux System, Accounting, Zones/Partitions Accounting and Filesystem data stored within the Capacity Database.
- Introduced a method to provide automatic deletion of user-specified redundant targets that have had no new data processed in a specified timeframe. This feature reduces the manual process of identifying and deleting these targets.
- Enhanced the Reporting Dashboard to allow copying of a chart within a dashboard, providing better efficiency when creating new charts. After copying the chart, definition details can be changed as required.
- Provided a way to update all charts on a Reporting Dashboard to have the same Reporting Period Setting, eliminating the need to edit each individual chart on the dashboard.
- Provided useful information on the Service View display and on the Service View List page, including the following:
- Service View Dashboard Name
- Description
- Calculation Start date and time
- Date and time of last calculation
- Completion Status
- Scheduler Name
- Send to Service Now setting
- Actions
This release can be upgraded from Syncsort Capacity Management v12.00-v12.50, but still requires an uninstall and reinstall from other earlier versions. Precisely strongly encourages customers to stay current by upgrading to this latest release.
