    Announcement

    Precisely announces the release of Syncsort Capacity Management v12.40.  

    Syncsort Capacity Management continues to ensure IT infrastructure resources are available to support the demands of today's business.  This new version delivers increased performance and scalability for on premise and hybrid cloud environments to handle the ever-increasing volumes of data being captured and processed for essential capacity and performance reporting, forecasting, and planning.

    New Features and Functionality in Syncsort Capacity Management v12.40

    The Data Summarizer application has been enhanced to allow the selection of Groups or Targets to limit the aggregation and/or deletion so it only occurs on Targets selected or contained within those Groups.<o:p></o:p>

    The Data Summarizer application has also been improved to make aggregation more resilient by automatically splitting the data and working from the earliest date through to the last date in the Summarization Definition in chunks. Each chunk of data is aggregated and committed for all tables in the set before moving forward.

    Data Summarizer for VMware has been enhanced to provide better performance. 

    This release can be upgraded from Syncsort Capacity Management v12.00-v12.30, but still requires an uninstall and reinstall from other earlier versions.  Precisely strongly encourages customers to stay current by upgrading to this latest release.

To access the software and license tools, you must have a Precisely (Customer or Partner) Community account established and have license entitlement. To download the software: Use the Precisely Data Experience link.

    Select "Software" to see your available products to download in a list. If you are licensed to Syncsort Capacity Management and do not see that product in the list, please contact Precisely Support by opening a case at https://support.precisely.com/contact/ 

    Improved access to Syncsort Capacity Management Documentation

    Syncsort Capacity Management product documentation is now available in the Precisely Help Center. The Help Center provides a modern experience to help you quickly locate content, personalize your experience, and provide feedback.  You can:
