Version 24.1 for Spectrum is now available.
The Spectrum v24.1 release includes major upgrades including Java, Neo4j and Hazelcast. This release is instrumental in providing a strong foundation for Spectrum that will pave the way for key enhancements and security features in the future. Some of the key focus areas of this release include:
· Key technology and platform upgrades include:
o Java version
o Neo4J Graph Database Management System
o OpenSearch replaces Open Distro for Elasticsearch
o Updated Spectrum Technology Platform Password Management Utility for OpenSearch
Spectrum Global Addressing new features include:
o New Fields for Global Type Ahead stage
o New fields in Global Address Validation stage
o New option to remove accent marks from Global Addressing Module output
· Spectrum Data Stewardship new features include:
o Data Stewardship data migrated to Elastic Search
· Spectrum Context Graph new features include:
o Support for additional Neo4j Database Server versions, Neo4j 5.6 is recommended with the Spectrum 2024.1 release.
· Spectrum Spatial new features include:
o Snowflake is now supported as a data source for Spatial data access
o Credentials for external services used in Spectrum Spatial can be securely stored and encrypted in the Spatial Repository
