    Spectrum Technology Update Available ─ 22.1 S18, 20.1 S64

Spectrum Global Addressing – Global Address Validation

Precisely announces the release of a Service Pack for 22.1 and 20.1 for your Spectrum Technology Platform.

This service pack update is a mandatory update. The software without these service pack updates will not be supported after July 31, 2023.

This required update must be applied prior to August 1, 2023.

Clients running Spectrum v2019.1 or older must upgrade to v2020.1 or v2022.1 and apply this mandatory update.  Alternatively, when released, v2023.1 will support these changes and can be installed prior to August 1, 2023.

This update is required for all Global Addressing Module customers, including those who do not perform CASS certification. It supports the new CASS Cycle O which becomes effective August 1, 2023. To meet the Cycle O rules, the structure of the GAM and DPV, LACSLink, SuiteLink and RDI databases have changed and are not compatible with previous versions of GAM. Version 10.0.0 is the latest version of the Domestic Use and Non-Domestic Use database and is required for use with these updates. The 10.0.0 version of the Domestic Use and Non-Domestic Use database will be in the Current Version tab of the Precisely Data Experience.

The v1.0.0, v2.0.0, and v3.0.0 databases will be in the Past Versions tab. The USPS will be ending the delivery of the data needed to build the v1.0.0, v2.0.0 and v3.0.0 data. Therefore, the last delivery of these databases will be the April 2023 databases which will expire at the same time as the USPS CASS Cycle N on July 31, 2023.
