    Hi all,

    I have logged a Support ticket for this, but tend to get useful suggestions from the Community.

    Has anyone had luck editing or using Solution Data Library? We have forms that are using this (PS set it up for us initially because Evolve lacks the ability to concatenate values like Foundation did). They also set up a form to run weekly so these lists get updated to correctly reflect SAP. However we came across an issue of Purchasing Group list not updating correctly. This is a "Global" solution library. When I try opening the list, I am unable to edit. The Reference data lists in Evolve are correctly update, it's only with the Solution library.

    I tried scanning documentation but it was not helpful.

    Any suggestions would be welcomed.

    Hi Shelby,

    what i understand is that you want to get rid of a value from Soltion_data library.

    There is no option to manually edit the data in solution data library, you can create a solution and use 'Update Solution Data Library' plugin to delete the values.

    configure plugin based on filter. for reference see screenshot below :

    Also this seems a bit odd that Solution data library is not updated with correct data but reference data has the correct values, for this we can review the value fetched from SAP before posting them in Solution Data library and check the logic to update the reference list as well.

    Thank you so much for you response! I do have a question. For your comment "for this we can review the value fetched from SAP before posting them in Solution Data library and check the logic to update the reference list as well." are you able to elaborate a bit more on that? What would I need to do or check?

    Hi Shelby

    I will let Hammad answer for himself, but for me, it depends on what you want to do with the SDL.

    (1) If you only want to update the  SDL rows that the query returned, then add a query statement where the SDL key field = the RDL key field,

    Note there's also an upsert action - add if it doesn't exist or update if it does

    (2) If you only want the SDL to include rows that they query returned and put into the RDL, then I would do a delete without a query, i.e. clear all values from the SDL before adding the RDL values to the SDL.

    I believe scenario 2 may be what you want, because you shared that the Query & RDL are correct and old values in the SDL shouldn't be in there.

    Hi Shelby,

    I Believe you are refering to the workflow shown below :

     If yes, then please confirm, i will go through the workflow and try to point out if there is any issue in which the plugins are configured.

    Also i can see multiple 'Update solution data library' plugins,please confirm if all these plugins are pointing to same 'SD Library'.

    If there are multiple SD Library used, is this happening for just one library or it randomly pops on any one of the Libraries used.

    Hi Hammad,

    I can't confidently answer, because Precisely Professional Services made this solution for us (because Evolve removed the ability to concatenate values in lists like SharePoint Foundation could). I believe the answer is yes. There is an App for "Update SDL" that contains this solution.

    Currently, the only issue users have noticed so far is with Purchasing Group.

    Hi Shelby,

    I analyzed the workflow, so far it does not look like any issue with workflow, i cannot get much insights as i do not have relevant data, 

    Is it possible for you to share the dataconnections and Solution data library used in the solution? If possible, please zip them and attach them here.

    Having data on a local setup might help us to narrow it down.
