MapInfo Pro

I am looking to get some repeatable text into the smarttext files, this is working well for continuous text of differing lengths for disclaimers etc but I would like to add some carriage returns or line breaks for address data to add to the template. I have tried a number of usual line break options but all produce an error, is it possible to add these so the data is formatted correctly when output. Many Thanks Alan

Do you mean editing the XML file to be picked up by the smart text drop down in v21?  

If so, then adding CHR$(13)  does seem to work.  E.g. line from my SmartTextAliases.xml file

<Alias name="Author" description="Originator's name.">"Your" +CHR$(13)+ "name"</Alias>

When used in Pro this does add Your and Name on separate lines.
