Hi Brittany
This is a fairly common scenario for customers looking to move from on‑prem infrastructure (including VMware-based setups) to a cloud environment. From a product functionality standpoint, there is typically no change or impact to EnterWorks MDM itself. The migration is primarily an infrastructure exercise, where customers need to plan how the new cloud environment will be set up in parallel and ensure that downstream systems (network access, integrations, connectivity, security rules, etc.) are updated accordingly.
Precisely hosts several such customers who have taken a parallel migration approach, building out the cloud environment first and then migrating assets from their existing on‑prem (VMWare) setup, to minimize risk and downtime.
Because each customer environment is different, we can evaluate your needs by engaging our Product team to review your specific architecture and develop a migration plan that best fits your needs.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Subject: Server Updates
Hello,
We currently have a VMWare server hosting our MDM system. It will become much more costly as the renewal kicks in. We are considering moving our Enable MDM to the cloud instead of on-prem. Have any other customers done the same or had any impacts with this change from VMWare?
Thank you.
