As of now there is no way to apply global search in current released version of evolve.

we did some R&D on the global search that you mentioned, it is not part for the current release plan.

You can add this to idea portal to add a vote to the request that this is something which will be helpful from user perspective.

Hi Florin,

In current version we do support search functionality outside the filter menu on each column.

Refer screenshot :

In the textbox highlighted above, you can enter the text and filter records based on column values instead of going to filter menu and then applying the filters.

Yes, I am running the current version and we make use of these fields, but they don't search the data in the attachments, sadly. 

To better explain my needs, I am going to show an example from the old Winshuttle: 

I have a form which has this attachment:. I will take this number from the excel file:

If I put this number in the Search Box: 

I will get a list of all the forms in which this number is mentioned, even though it is only in a file.

As you can see, the first CIMR-Misc in the list is the one that I've taken the number from. This number is only mentioned in the form and not in any promoted/solution fields.
