    Posted 20 days ago

    I have several questions:

    1. Confirmation of Best Practices for One-to-Many Broadcast Replication Configuration

    2. Recommended Quick-Edd versions for IBM I versions V7.4 and V7.5

    3. Ports that need to be opened for Quick-Edd installation

For point 1, can I use the method shown in the following image?

    1. Confirmation of Best Practices for a One-to-Many Broadcast Replication Configuration

There is no limitation regarding this replication configuration. A single source system can replicate to multiple target systems. However, appropriate licensing is required for each participating server.

    2. Recommended Quick-EDD Version for IBM i 7.4 and 7.5

Our recommendation is to install the latest available version whenever possible. Currently, the recommended version is V2607, which includes numerous enhancements, stability improvements, and bug fixes.

    3. Ports Required for Quick-EDD Installation

By default, Quick-EDD uses port 4444 for communications. This port must be open between the systems involved in replication. For security or infrastructure requirements, the port can be changed; however, if you modify it, the new port number must also be updated within the Quick-EDD environment configuration.
