  • 1.  Raster SDK documentation

    Hello,

    Under the Raster menu, there are a number of available functions like point inspection, viewshed, etc... 
    in the past we had the Vertical Mapper which was very convenient to call those functions in other programming languages.

    When it comes to Raster, I know we could use C# or VBA, etc.. to use the DLL, but is there a document somewhere with the attributes to be used for those functions please?

    Hi Alban

    You need to look for the Extensibility Reference. I'd recommend accessing it from the SQL Window.

    But more important, in the Raster Documentation (Raster\Documentation\API) folder in your MapInfo Pro installation folder, you can find some additional documentation and examples for Raster.

    You can also use Python to automate your raster processing. Check out the Python Quick Start add-in from the MapInfo Marketplace
