Hello,

I am in trying to run a query but am getting a message that the file is protected by a password (but it's not).  I get the same message even if I attach a brand-new blank Excel to the query.  I'm trying to test the query in QEC before submitting for approval.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rita

I downloaded your example and change the search criteria and was able to run it.

Please note:

• I did not have the excel file open separately from Studio
• the query was locked to sheet1, but you didn't have sheet1, so I unlocked and relocked to the sheet name you had
• I unchecked background mode
