  • 1.  Property Attribute assessment has tax_pct > 50%

    I am noticing some property assessments  in the Prop Attribute assessment data showing sale amount and tax amounts resulting in tax percent > 50%. I need someone to check this dataset out and let me know if my tax calculation is wrong . If the sale amount is around 300K can the tax amount be in millions? Take 50 Fetterman Rd, Palm, PA 18070 | Trulia

    The tax amount is only 900$ , why is it that the downloaded data is showing  tax amount of 2,809,227.55 for a 200K property. i checked to make sure it is not our parsing logic fault, owing to some null fields or something. We are actually receiving this dataset like this. Also can a 2M property have a 1.5M tax amount on it? please clarify

    Hello Padma,

    It appears that the Assessor has made an error in the mill rate which is used to calculate the tax amount. The County offices have been made aware of the error.
