    Precisely Data Experience Automatic Downloads: Product Vintage Change

    Abstract

    Clients using the Precisely Data Experience Automatic Download SDK will experience a change beginning August 7, 2026.  All products will now contain an additional digit in the vintage number. 

    For products that have multiple revisions a month, the number will be used to differentiate between releases.  For products that are released on a monthly or longer schedule, the revision number will be 0.

    For those clients who use the Automatic Download SDK, the full vintage number will now need to be used (ex 2026.07.1).

    What is Changing

    Current Behavior

    • Users specify vintage year and month when downloading a delivery.
      • Example: 2026.07

    New Behavior

    • Users must provide vintage year, month, and revision number.
      • Example: 2026.07.1

    Examples

    • If no revision exists, the vintage will be displayed as: 2026.07.0
    • If a revision exists, the vintage will be displayed as: 2026.07.1

    This ensures users can directly identify and use the correct vintage/revision value when downloading deliveries.
