I got this information from one of the developers.
We have mailings that are generated for statewide recipients, and the zip codes all start with '6' but when the developer does a test run of a print job, the presort output is showing zip codes that do not belong in our state (starting with '7' or '9'). There are some 900 entries in the test output that are invalid, which then puts other states into the mix because it's sorted by zip code. This ends up "sorting trays incorrectly" and we can't get our discount, which causes issues for the mailroom. It appears that the rest of the program is fine, no abends or anything, we just end up with a bunch of "junk" output. Also, it seems that these 900 entries are all put in the same tray except ONE, about a third of the way, is marked for a separate tray.
Any ideas or suggestions? I am at a loss.
