Hi to all,
We are trying to record a script to mass update existing Task Lists and the idea would be while selecting an operation we could add/change components, characteristics etc. At the moment we are facing the issue with the recording that we cannot select the operation that we would like to update.
We looked already in the library for an existing script, but we couldn't find anything.
Does anyone tried that before or knows how to do it?

Hi Spyridon,

When in the operations screen, type 'OBSE' in the command box. This will present you with another screen where you have to inform the Object = 'O' and the Work Order Task No. = your operation number. This will position the operation as the first row.

The same can be used for work orders as well.

using the operations screen is tricky but the best solution I found is to do a select all operations on the screen for the task list and use the next operation button in the recording once the first operation is updated. Then after recording, create a loop accordingly.  That way you should be able to update each and every operation in the loop or have some kind of if condition to skip specific operations if needed. hope that helps.
