  • 1.  Nodes Fail without providing additional information

    Hi, I'm not too sure why this is happening.

    I have a modify fields node that just fails to run. Usually, I get information in the Errors panel on the left but here all I get is the red text and the status of the node is set to failed. All that the modify fields node does is remove unneeded columns so I'm not sure why it's failing.

    Can anyone assist?

    I had this happen to me... it was a character in the field name that was the issue. Not sure if that helps

    I've seen this happen too.  The node was unable to save an error message, and may not have even tried.

    What @Geoff Geoff described is it failing during setup, and it died because a field had a bad character, maybe a colon character, in a field name.

    @Geoff Geoff and @Ernest Jones

    Thanks for your replies guys. Much appreciated!

    Turns out that the reason for the error was that the server has run out of disk space. Strange that it didn't give us an error though. I've seen errors regarding disk space before. Maybe there was just so little space it couldn't even log a new error?
